Mrs Theresa Guthrie returned to Salt Lake City Friday after visiting for a week with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs Guy Tanner. Mr. and Mrs Mancel Bishop. Nyssan Completes Course Miss Evelyn Cleaver recently completed a medical secretarial course at Kinman Business uni versity in Spokane. She is now spending several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Cleaver. Mi and Mrs. O E. Cheldelin were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Maughan at Four Seasons cafe in Ontario. The Cheldelins were Monday dinner guests of Frank Sherwood and his father, H. R Sherwood at Brownie’s cafe in Nyssa. Three Nyssans Hurt in Car Crash Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bennett and Robert L. Hedges suffered in juries in a car crash about 6 pm. Tuesday near Notus. The three were in Hedges’ car headed for Caldwell when they hit a car owned by Juan Z. Gar cia beyond Notus at the intersec tion of the labor camp road and highway 20-26. According to po lice reports, Garcia had turned onto the highway when his car stalled and he turned off his lights to let the battery build up when he was hit from the rear by the Hedges car. Mrs. Bennett, who suffered a knee injury, and Bennett, with leg and possibly back injuries, were still in a Caldwell hospital at press time Wednesday. They were not considered seriously in jured. Hedges suffered bruises and was able to return to Nyssa Tuesday night.
