OREGON STUDENT ASSISTS JOURNAL DURING JENNINGS' ABSENCE Miss Linda Morrison assisted in in the front office of the Gate City Journal during a two-week absence of Mrs. Earl (Earlene) Jennings. Linda is spending the summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Morrison Jr. and Teri. She is a student at Pacific Lutheran college in Parkland, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings, Diane and Joyce returned Friday from Oklahoma after attending funeral services for her mother, Mrs. Ola May Wildman. They were ac companied by Mrs. Jennings’ sis ter, Mrs. Lila Harpham of Pay ette. While in the Sooner state they visited relatives and friends and were also guests of the women’s uncle, the Clayton Pfister family at Olathe, Colo. ENROUTE TO PORTLAND Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Moore of Nampa were Tueeday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. McConnell. The Moores left Tuesday evening by train for Portland to visit their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Powell, Tami and Robyn.
