and Joyce returned Friday from
Oklahoma after attending funeral
services for her mother, Mrs. Ola
May Wildman. They were ac
companied by Mrs. Jennings’ sis
ter, Mrs. Lila Harpham of Pay
ette.
While in the Sooner state they
visited relatives and friends and
were also guests of the women’s
uncle, the Clayton Pfister family
at Olathe, Colo.
ENROUTE TO PORTLAND
Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Moore
of Nampa were Tueeday dinner
guests of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. S. C. McConnell. The Moores
left Tuesday evening by train for
Portland to visit their son-in-law
and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Powell, Tami and Robyn.

somewhere in Canada, but while on vacation came through Nyssa.
They liked the town, as well as the climate, and decided that this I
would be a good place to raise their family. The new cafe owners
have asked the Journal to express their appreciation to all area
residents for a successful beginning of their new business venture
