Dan Hanks, Nyssa high school star a few years ago, was the outstanding player for La Grande while Babe McCulloch, also a former Nyssa youth, outdid most of the boys on the C. of I. line-up. Ketchum, at present in charge of the Vale irrigation project for the bureau of reclamation, will be gin a survey of the Brogan-Burnt river project sometime this month. The work will start as soon as negotiations are completed whereby the state will agree to share the cost with the bureau of reclamation. The survey will take several weeks and will require a staff of several men.
