I want to thank my judges; Mary Tolenon from True Value, Re- becca McGaugh from The In- dependent , Cindy Ball and Alexis Posey, both friends of mine, who came out into the cold to pick our winners. I was glad it was their job and not mine, they all looked great. Our grand prize winner was Weller & Sons with Matt Poet- ter driving. The company got a plaque with their name and year on it, to display for the year. The driver’s prize was an apple pie. Whimsical was won by Robb Wilson who got an ap- ple pie; Most Original – Ray Pelster who also got an apple pie; Judge’s Favorite – Jazzer- cise, who can work off their ap- ple pie all next week. The Parade doubled in size from last year and I can see more growth again next year. Write this down as another fun time in Vernonia, the town where family is our number one commodity.
