Obituary From page 20 In 1978, he married Iris Clark. He was a U.S. Deputy Marshall until retire- ment. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike and James; a daughter, Penny Webb; two step-daughters, Margo Clark and Lisa Johnson; two sisters, Pat Jacobsen and Leora Keenon; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Remembrances are suggested to Milwaukie Convalescent Center or Hillsboro Christian Church. IRENE M. SIEDELMAN Irene M. Siedelman, 90, Vernonia, died May 13, 2004. Funeral services were held May 18 at Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home in Vernonia. Inter- ment was at Vernonia Memorial Ceme- tery. Mrs. Siedelman was born Decem- ber 26, 1913, in Portland to Peter and Julia (Bil) Felong. She was raised and educated in Scofield, near Top Hill. In 1930, she married Edwin S. Siedelman. They made their home on the original Siedelman homestead on McDonald Road. She was a home- maker. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Emilie Siedelman and Jennie Siedelman. Survivors include a son, Glen E. of Beaverton; daughter, Edwina L. Siedelman of Beaverton, one grand- child, nieces and nephews. Remembrances are suggested to the Vernonia Senior Center, 446 Bridge St., Vernonia, OR 97064. Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. VIRGINIA “VIOLA” WILLIAMS Virginia “Viola” Williams, 86, Gales Creek, died May 1, 2004. Funeral serv- ices were held May 7 at the Gales Creek Community Church, with Rev. Earle Fort officiating. Interment was at Hayward Hill Cemetery in Manning. Mrs. Williams was born July 12, 1917, in Hamburg, Oklahoma, to Charles and Ruth (Darke) Sawyer. In 1936, she married Clifford Wil- liams. They made their home in Cyril Okla., moving to Visalia, Calif, after World War II and to Gales Creek in 1952. In 1961, they moved to Hayward Hill. She worked at Gray & Co. in For- est Grove until retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include two sons, Jerry of Manning, Henry of Eagle River, Ala.; three daughters, Virginia Williams of Portland, Betty Williams of Paso Rob- les, Calif., and Helen Williams DeLa Rosa of Gresham; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Remembrances are suggested to Gales Creek Community Church of God. Fuiten Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. RAY D. WILSON Ray D. Wilson, 67, Hillsboro, died May 7, 2004. At his request, no servic- es were held. Mr. Wilson spent 14 years in the Marine Corps. He had owned a cafe and was a foster parent for mentally challenged youth. Survivors include his fiancee, Jan- ice Alvarado of Hillsboro; a sister, Jan- ice Fisher of Vernonia; step-children; step-grandchildren; nieces and neph- ews.
