The INDEPENDENT, May 2, 2002 NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Vernonia School District 47J, Columbia County, State of Oregon, on the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003 will be held at Vernonia School District Of fice, 475 Bridge Street, Vernonia, Oregon. The meeting will take place on the 9th day of May, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message. Collins Memorial Marine Park) Composting Toilet Project Columbia County Columbia County is soliciting bids for the construction of the Coon Island, Compost ing Toilet Project. Principal work elements include: construction of a wooden composting toilet building, com posting toilet and thirty (30) foot wooden ADA accessible walkway.
