Principle Steve Giere gave a welcom ing speech to the audience. Next on the agenda was the presentation of scholar ships by senior advisor Ward Nelson, followed by speeches from Honor Speakers DeAn- na M oullet and W illia m Busch. After the presentation of awards by Giere, Superin tendent Ellis Mason, school board Chairman Dan Dailey, and G iere p re s e n te d th e class of 1994 with their diplo mas. To top off the graduation cerem ony a few graduates performed the classs song, “ T h a t’s W hat F rie n d s A re For.” AR WGS honor students get awards and Pearcia Blum. Rebekkah M cAlvage re c e iv e d th e O u ts ta n d in g S cholar award, shared the President’s Award for Educa tional Excellence with Ashley Weller and the Paul Gordon M em orial A w ard w ith Erin Davis. Davis also received the President’s Academic Effort Award, as did Jessica Jones, Denise Titus, Heather Murphy Two seventh grade s tu dents, Linda Sehili and JR S q uire s, w ere also re c o g nized as Outstanding Schol ars.
