passed the S enior Project!
T h e S e n io r P roject allow s
s e n io rs to d is p la y th e s k ills
they have learned throughout
th e ir fo u r y e a rs o f h ig h
s c h o o l. It is c o m p o s e d o f
three m ain parts, which must
a ll be co m p le te d in o rd e r to
g radu ate . T h e th re e c o m p o ­
n e n ts a re th e p h y s ic a l pa rt,
th e l-s e a rc h p a p e r, a n d an
oral presentation.
T h e m ain re q u ire m e n t fo r
the project is that it must be a
le a rn in g e x p e rie n c e fo r th e
student.
T h e physical project m ust
re q u ire at lea st 15 ho u rs in
order to be valid; it is the first
part of the senior project due.
T h e l-se a rch paper m ust be
w ritten in narrative style and
be at least eight pages long.
The paper must be an evalu­
ation of the project and expe­
rience. The oral presentation
m ust be 8 -1 0 m in u te s long,
and is given in front of a pan­
el of five judges.
