I i llA5 j j I w Kraft RETROSPECTION On this anniversary of the conclusion of the direst conflict in the history of all time and of all nations it is time for retrospection. Battle scarred villages and farms have smoothed away their bruises and the ever alleviating hand of Nature has returned them to productiveness and peacefulness in aspect. Enmity and enviousness of the warr ing nations have melted away into the spirit of the natural brotherhood of man and faith and hope and charity spread an aura of humanity and benevolence throughout all Christendom. All is returning to normalcy all except the shattered shell-shocked bod ies and the bereft minds and morale of the unfortunate heroes. . To them, then, is due all deference and reverence on this day the first to respond, yet the most futile to restore and recompense for an imperish- . able service. Commorating the ending of the. world's greatest struggle, . the members of this association, representing all lines of business, announce the closing of their stores at noon today.
