They are well known as pro ducers of excellent band .music and their arrival is looked for by many former friends here. Through error Jess L. Kirk, was mentioned as chairman of Indian convention. His lum ber arrived yesterday and his build ing will bo ready for service to morrow. Seldon Kirk with his crew of men are fast getting the band stand in shape for Thursday night's dance. Francis Kirk and Edward F. Ball are putting the finishing touches on the dance hall. A number of campers are now lo cated on the convention grounds and five more families arrived to day. Walter J. The aged woman who was 72 at the time of her death, was well known In Klamath county, having lived in Ibis section of Oregon for more than 25 yaara. She was born In Mpllala,. Oregon, and was the widow of CM. Rams by, who passed away five years ago in Ashland. Besides her two children. ' Mrs. Martin and Mr. Ramsby, she Is sur vived by her brothers, W., D. Wood cock, of Richmond. Calif., Newton Woodcock of San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. L. D. Klinger of Dufi Oregon.
