".. i' ' With the 'trout. biting well In the cold water,-an4 the 'reports of the first groups into the lake, Sunday was a busy day and Klamath Falls was well represented with those who trolled the waters of Diamond lake, as well as those who triad their luck at casting. Among the parties to spend. the week-end at Diamond lake was one composed of E. B. Henry, city en gineer, Willard L. Smith, of the reclamation service, and Harry Baum, woodsman for the Wc.ye.r hauser Timber company. They re ported a good catch of rainbow trout and brought home the limit. Another party who caught the limit was composed of Ernest Nits chelm, Frank Bryant, Merle Hous ton and Harry Messner. It is re ported, however, that the last two lacked a few pounds of the needed II, although they brought in a good number. The fish, according to one of tho party, are of the smaller variety; nlihoug'h there were a num ber ;f "liir fellows."
