Announcement of Mr. Jackson's selection was withheld until a telegraphic acceptance to the salary terms was received by County Super intendent Fred A. Peterson. The new high school prin cipal was chosen from a field of nearly 25 prospective can didates. He came highly recommended, and according; to county high school board officials, Klamath county is fortunate in securing a man of his reputed ability. Mr. Jackson is now principal of the Olympia, Wash., high school, an institution with nearly 900 students. He is about 35 years of age, is married and has one child, it is understood.
