Brown the meat, simmer and cool in the morning or a day ahead. Refrigerate until needed. The meat w ill have time to ab sorb all the bright subtle flavor of convenient canned tomato sauce that seasons it. Use liny canned potatoes Uv.o ll-flurice cans) and add with the vegeta bles and mushrooms to the cold meat. Heat in electric skillet, on the range, or in a 350 degree oven for a half hour. A salad of grapefruit sections in lemon lime gelatin could also be pre pared ahead, ready to serve with mayonnaise sparked with lemon juice and paprika to make it pink.
