Drama Team To Perform "Tlie Sacred Music and Drama Team" from the Bible Standard Collepe of Eugene will appear at the Bible Standard Church in Chil oquin on Tuesday, June 25, at 7:30 p.m. Hcv. James A. Rinp,setli, pas tor, said the group will present "The Life of John Williams," a sacred drama depicting the life of a pioneer English missionary who sacrificed his life taking the Gos pel to the cannibalistic South Sea Islands. Word of his death brought many volunteers to take his place on the field, and during World War II. shipwrecked U.S. Navy sailors fearfully went ashore to find themselves welcomed and hospita bly treated by the Christian is-, landers. The college team will include "The Venturers Trio." composed nf three girls from Ventura. Calif., Pam Stewart, Diane Joll er. and Donna Warner. John Free man from Eugene will portray John Williams in the dramatic production, and Rev. W. E. Bry ant. Eugene, dean of the college, will be in charge of the service and assist with the dramatiza-j tinn. The public is invited to attend; the program which will also fea-. lure vocal trio, duet, and solo selections. There w ill be no charge lor admission. Olivet Lutheran Church in Port land, where he served for six years and 10 months. gat ion Preparing in less than three days for the first Sunday at church and the welcoming reception at the Hope Plans For Worker Hope Lutheran Church will re ceive its newly assigned parish visitor, Miss Nancy Jo Nelson, with a formal installation and reception on Sunday. Assigned under the auspices of the Board of American Missions. Lutheran Church of America, Miss Nelson will serve at Hope; Lutheran for six months. Her duties will be primarily concerned with e"angclism and the field of Christian education. Isensee, is a mem ber of the Pacific Lutheran Uni versity "Choir of the West," cur rently on a two-month concert tour of Europe. The concert schedule for the 58-voicc a capella choir includes 41 concerts in the leading cities of Norway, Denmark, Germany, and France. Before returning to the United States on July 25. the choir will also travel In Switzer land and Italy.
