Lassie's Delights HOLLYWOOD lUPli - June Lockharl is delighted that many televiewers know as "Lassie's mother," a sobriquet many anoth er actress might find unamusing. Furthermore, June says she is really Laddie's mother. Laddie is a "mostly fox terrier," whu romps around her two-story Elizabethan-English style heme in fashionable Brentwood. Though she plays the rather col orless role of Ruth Martin on the "Lassie" scries, June is a very hip and youthful matron of 37 off screen. She is the wile of archi tect John Lindsay and the mother of two daughters by a previouSWith the "Lassie" show which marriage. They are Anne. 9, andjpromises to remain on the air for1 Junie, 7. imany seasons. This suits the ac- June is a second generation star. Her father. Gene Lockhart, was a famed character actor on the screen during the 30s and 4ns.
