Willard (Ruth Hendricks I, San Francisco, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hendricks, Klamath Falls, has the distinction of being the youngest national champion in the history of senior A A U synchronited swimming competition. The 13-year-old girl swims with the Sen Francisco Marionettes, which successfully de fended the senior national indoor title they have claimed since 1961 in Houston, Ten., on April 12-14. Patty placed first in team, fourth in duet with her partner, Margaret Drubrow, and 1 0th In solo in the entire U.S. for senior competition. The young champion is active in school af fairs, drama and holds a straight. A cholarship record. She has also received the Curved Bar rank in informed iate scouting.
