Lindsay, left, chatted with Mrs. Lindsay and right, Tom Preece, president of the Yreka Rotary Club, as he waited to be served. Lindsay, a veteran homesteader, and Mrs. Lindsay have been active in many qroups in the community. Dinner was prepared and served to more than 100 by women of the LDS Church in the Home Economics Building of the Tule la ko - Butte Valley Fairgrounds. Several neighboring Rotary clubs were represented including Klamath Falls, Alturas and Yreka. 1 n " Rf VALENTINE PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Floyd A. Boyd, center, came from Fresno to be present for the 25th anniversary of the foundinq of the Tulelake Rotary Club, ob served at a delightfully appointed dinner on Valentine's night for members, Rotary annes and guests. He, a past president, was dinner speaker, reminiscing on the early history of the club. Lady guests were presented with corsages. Table appointments and flower arrangements were in keeping with the Valentine theme. At left is Mrs. Hans A. Hansen, Valley City, N.D., visiting in Tulelake this winter with her son, Gor don D. As a climax to the evening, Mrs. Paul Deller took members on a tour by film back to Old Williamsburg, Va., in the 18th cen tury. This film is one used in the public schools and it tells the story of colonial life in Virginia better than many hours of read ing on the subject might do.
