Andy Silani enter tained at the Silani home on Sun day. Feb. 17. The occasion w.is a surprise 25th wedding anniver sary reception for Mr. and Mrs. Loren Binney. who were mar ried in Klamath Kails on l'cl. ID. MM and have made then home here since that lime. Both are. originally from Kansas. Jhe Binneys have three chil dren. Susan, a sophomore at KUIIS. Larry. KUHS junior, nnd Stephen, junior at Oregon Stale University. The original wedding party con sisting of the bridal pair, Mildred and Loren Binney, his sister, Mrs. Mary Kirkland, and Arthur John son took part in the ceremony. Kor the occasion, the Silani home was decorated with pink and silver. An unusual V-shapcd ar lanfement nl pink spring lowers and pink tapers in silver holders was placed on the rclieshmenl table with the wedding cake. The three tiered cake, decorated pink and silver nnd topped with a bridal pair, was made and rlrcn rated by Mis. Lyle Cook. Andrea Silani served at the punch howl; Linda .(ones look charge of the silver and gill tree, and Susan Binnev attended the guest hook. Terri. Lyn and Becky lluddleslon assisted about the looms. The bride wore a gown of peau de soie with overlay of cmbroid ered Chantilly lace and chapel train. Seed pearls accented the gown and also formed a crown which held in place the shoulder veil of illusion. She carried an old-fashioned bouuuet of white roses and stephanotis. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Smith and was given in marriage by her father. Matron of honor, Mrs. Richard, Simmons of Woodaire, wore a ballerina frock of rose peau do soie with matching accessories and rose veil fastened with a satin bow. She and the bridesmaids. Michale (iriswold and Kathy Mo Neman, who wore identical pale pink dresses, earned basket ar rangements of roses. ! Tlie bride is a graduate of Automation Business School, Sac ramenlo. and Reno Business Col lege and is employed at the Kor- est Service office in Alturas. Her husband, also a forest service cm ploye, has studied tilree years at University of Nevada and will complete his senior year in en gineering starting next fall term 'Federation Dav bv the Oregon legislature in Salem and all mcm jher of the Oregon Federation of Vtomens Clubs are invited to attend several functions planned in observance. A tour of Salem is Dlanned for member visitors, who will also attend legislative sessions. At noon, a no-host luncheon will be served at the Marion Hotel.
