East-west first place winners were Mrs. Lester Offield and Mrs. George Rogers, followed by Frank Ricky and William Cunningham in second, and' Mrs. Claudine Van Buskirk and Mrs. L. C. Jones, third. Ten tables were in play at the Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, ses sion. First, north-south, were Mrs. William Grove and Mrs. Leona Robertson. Mrs. Lena Smith and Mrs. Lloyd Goble were second. Mrs.' William Cunningham and Mrs. Frank Ricky and Mrs. An drew Honfel and Mrs. Grace Krcssc tied for third and fourth. Mrs. Charles Ramp and Mrs. N. J. Rosebaum were third. BIRTHDAY PARTY LANGELL VALLEY Mrs. Ted Alberts and Mrs. Bud Harris gave a birthday party at the commu nity hall on Saturday evening. 'Jan. 14, for Naomi Branham who was 17 years old. The 30 teenagers attending danced until 12 o'clock when refreshments were served. Centering the long table was a pink and white cake.
