TERRY HANNON and her 6-month-old son, Michael John', spent nearly 10 days in Klamath Falls while her husband, 2nd Lt. Hannon, attended a confer ence for finance officers in Colorado. They were guests of Mrs. Harmon's parents, Dr. and Mrs. John Cox, but divided their time with Michael's other grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fawver. Pick Officers ' Newcomers Club met this week interesting program for women to elect officers and plan an: new to the community. Mrs. Clinton C. Mills will head the group as president for the first three months. Serving with her will be Mrs. Wallace L. Hitt, vice president, and Mrs. Delbert Eayrs, treasurer. Mrs. Bechen is the tormer Judy Irene lenninger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lenninger. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Haarby B. Bechen. Attendants were the bride's sister, Linda Len ninger, and the bridegroom's father. Present for the cere mony, in addition to the couple's parents, were the bride's grandfather, Holl Schmidt; her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Free1 Sdgington of San Francisco; the bride groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Shive, and his brother, Bergh Bechen. Photo by Kettler Auxiliary Fetes Past Presidents MERRILL Past presidents uf Merrill VKW Auxiliary were hon ored with a dinner at the so cial meeting Jan. 18 with 23 members present. Ten presidents were presented with plaque of an auxiliary em blem, gavel, name and term of office. The backdrop pictured the meeting places for the auxiliary from 19-17 and each president gave a resume of her term of office. Presidents honored were: 48-49. Fanny Biyngelson; 49-50. Grace Walker: 50-51, Mary Lou Swish er: 51-52, Ida Fleck: 53-54, Bar bara McKoen: 54-55, Margaret Moore, and 5H-57, Marge Wal drip. 57-5R. Buffet was served from a table attractively decorated with a centerpiece of pink and white dogwood and pink candles in crystal holders. A large two tiered cake, decorated by Myrtle Hippy, with an auxiliary emblem and gavel, was served. Those serving on the decorat ing committee were Dorothy Bax ter.
