Mrs. Brown was found uncon scious beside Highway 99-W Fri day night. Brown said he saw that a drag race was being organized while he was out driving with his fam ily. He let his wife and daughters off at a drivein and chased the drivers. The children were driven home by a neighbor. Mrs. Brown saw another car of teen-agers drive off after her husband so she went to a nearby telephone and called the city police for help. When police arrived, they found her unconscious. The police believe Hint she was beaten up by friends of the youths her husband was chasing. Mrs. Brown was treated at a hospital for bruises and cuts on her lace.
