It will be the first conclave of District 511 and the first district "meeting of Rotarians and Rotary Anns ever held in Roseburg. The assembly will be held April Zfi and 27, and the two-day con- ference will follow April 28 and 29. ..The assembly will be devoted to -training of incoming officers of the "clubs. And the conference is de 'signed to educate Rotarians and -Rotary Anns about the meanings of the service organization. - Featured speaker during the two 'Sessions will be Riley W. Doe of .Oakland, California, alternate member of the nominating com -mittee for president of Rotary In ternational last year and a former international director, Leslie White .of Albany, district governor, is also expected to speak. Sir Winston To Visit Ike AUGUSTA. Ga. (UPD - The White House announced today that former British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill will visit Pres ident Eisenhower (or three days in May. The British leader has had long-standing invitation to visit his old friend of World War II and was forced to cancel a trip to Washington last year because of illness. The President and Mrs. Eisen hower will have Churchill as their White House guest May 4-5-6, and on May 7 Sir Winston will move to the British Embassy tor one night there before leaving Wash ington.
