Details of thp nrnnnsal wpr nnt announced. Neither of the parties involved would comment. Federal mediators released the following announcement: "Out of the cilhrnrnmiltpp mppHnac hnA for the past 10 days, there has de veloped a proposal ot a seitiement of a strike by the Newspaper Guild of Greater Philadelphia against the Inquirer. "This proposal will he presented to the membership Monday, July 7, at 2 p. m." Robert Dnnnahoo, chief federal mediator, later issued a state ment amending the first an nouncement to read that the pro posal would bb "presented for the action of the membership."
