The study will be conducted by an independent, nonpartisan com mission. To assure that the projected Commission on Money and Credit will be free from political or spe cial-interest pressures, CED said the 9 to IS members will be nom inated by a selection committee, named by CED Chairman Donald K. David. This committee consists of, 10 heads of research institutions and colleges, including Arthur F. Burns, former chairman of Presi dent Eisenhower's Council of Eco nomic Advisers, and the presi dents of Colgate, Cornell, Indiana and Stanford universities, ana Amherst College. As a further assurance of non- partisanship. CED officials said, the commission will not be expect ed to issue its final report until after the 1960 presidential election. David, former dean of the Har vard Graduate School of Business Administration, obtained authori zation for the plan at the 15th anniversary meeting ot L.u s Board of Trustees here today. The Wilson's daughter, Rosanne, is a student at Oregon State College, Vacationing Mr. and Mrs. John Giacomini and son Anthony, ac companied by Mrs. Mamie Giaco mini, mother of John Giacomini, Merrill, will attend -the Stanford California game to be played at Stanford Stadium, Palo Alto, Sat urday, November 23. Knowland Airs Senate Plans EL CENTRO. Calif. UV-Sen. Knowland (R-Calif) says he will keep the job of Senate minority leader during the next session of Congress despite his entry into the California gubernatorial cam paign. Knowland made the statement in an address to the El Centro Rotary Club yesterday. The senator is seeking the Re publican gubernatorial nomination and is expected to face Democrat ic State Atty. Gen.
