Griffith, who has been assistant postmaster at the Klamath Falls operation since 1922, came from Portland In 1916 and was one of the two carriers employed when city delivery was launched here. Entrance pay is $6,390 a year, with a few positions having less rigid experience requirements starting at $5,440 a year. Quota Club Sets Meeting The next regular meeting of the Klamath Falls Quota Club will be , held at noon at the Winema Hotel I . on Tuesday, October 16. The ninth anniversary of the , club will be observed on that date V and a special birthday party has been planned by a committee con sisting of past presidents of the club. All but one of the past presi dents are still residents of Klam ath Falls. In charge of the pro gram will be Alice Vitus, Cardula Eells, Joy Rolph. Ada Sproat, Nadine Colvin. Helen Majors, Edith Lantz and Vera Chase. The committee promises a sur prise treat and urges all members to attend.
