Stevenson's aides apparently re gard Oov. Averell Harrlman of New York as one of the grealrs', threats to their man. Estes Kefauver of Tennes see is likely to be a primary con tender and he and Stevenson might clash head on in some of these tests. The Stevenson caup seems confident of disposing of Ke fauver on some battlefield tel to be selected. In the South, Stevenson's asso ciates believe they are much bet ter off than they were in 153. when their candidate lost tour states to President Elsenhower.
