Photo by Parks Fort Rock Line Finished FORT ROCK With the ' com pietion of 150 miles of power line in north Lake Coiimy Basin, the Northern Construction Company, of Terry, Montana, has contracted to build an additional 35'2 miles of distribution line for Midstate Electric Cooperative. Cost of the additional system of power lines will be approximately i75,000. This construction will sejrve the area known as Sink as well as several short connections. Work is expected to start on November 1. C. W. Brown, contractor in part nership with John A. Unfred, and Mrs. Brown are in Montana at the present time where Brown is attending: to ranch business at Ter ry and Mrs. Brown is visiting her mother at Miles City. Unfred has remained at Fort Rock for the wind-up of the big job and start of the addition. Bly Patrons Hear Report BLY .Herb Hadley, head of the newly-formed projects commit tee for Bly Parents and Patrons Club, reported on the activities of his committee at the October meeting of the club. Principal projects this year in clude grass on the ball field. -a power mower and .now plow and an electric mixer for the school cafeteria. The cost of water for growing pi ass on the ball field indicated that project should be delayed for further consideration. James Chance, principal, said a good used mower and plow could be purchased from Geoiee Smith, retiring Janitor, for $100. D. L. Chance told the group of plans to finish the tennis court and that the county road crew will surface it at the lime they are in the area doing road work. This work has already been paid for. Named to head the carnival queen contest committee were Liz Hyde. Nisha Hadley and Jewel Cambron. Francis P. Skinner, county 4-H leader, spoke to the group on 4-H work and presented pins and award.
