The little miss is Linda Lu Barron, 7 months, a resident of Klamath Falls; Mrs. Lizzie i Fritz, Tamaqua, Linda Lu's 82 year old great-great-grandmother. Back of them, sane order, Mrs. Edvrard Barron, 5745 Shasta Way, is the baby's mother; and Mrs. T. S. Balliet, 924 Martin Street, it grandmother. Photo by Guderian Schoolmates Picnic Luncheon At U. E. Reeders' Spring Creek Home Schoolmates Club members have been having fun together ever since they were "that high" and last meeting on August 18, hasted by Judge and Mrs. U. E. Reeder at their summer home on beautiful Spring Creek, didn't spoil the record. The usual fun-session Was furth er sparked by very special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Fountain, from Merced, where he is a county su pervisor. He is a native of klam pth Falls, and has known all the Schoolmates since they .were little children together. He left Klamath Falls many years ago; but still visits here as "going to refers home.' Mrs. Fountain took pictures of the group during the picnic lunch eon on the green bank or the stream and Glen Fountain, who is remembered for posessing con siderable talent as a boyhood prankster and a robust, ready wit. entertained the other guests and members with droll references to past incidents of their childhood. , Other guests were Ruth Heldrlch and Marie Strom. Members in cluded June Grimes, Nett Peter son, Sally Wood, Ida Grimes, Min nie Grizzle, Mabel Murphy. Win nie Cleghorn, Georgia Zollman, Maud Hosley and Anna Reeder. Boating was also part of the day s entertainment. The group was invited to meet with Mildred Garrett at Fort Klamath in September. Turner Family Reunion Picnic Ma'lIN Collier Park was the scene of the annual Turner family picnic recently with 60 attending. Members from Malin included two of the Turner girls, Mrs. Em ma Wilson, her son Earl and family, Mrs. Lyda Turner Kirk Patrick, there with her husband C. M. Kirkpatrick Sr., daughter Beth Obenchain and two sons, Or ville and family and C. M. Kirk patrick Jr., and his family. From Portland. Mrs. Wilson's daughter, Emmaline, and her hus- band L. v. Shepherd and their son Darren and their daughter, Carol, who has been spending the summer with her Grandmother Wilson. Shallow, officiant. The bride was given in marriage by clobe family friend, 'George Marson; and Mr. and Mrs. Wen dell L. Hueitl, sister and brother- in-law of the bride, were attend ants. The bride's gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over saUn was designed with a bodice of the lace, long sleeved, and w ith a wide ee neckline In an oll-the- shoulder effect with interesting scroll detail of lace edged in tulle. Her three-quarter length veil was held by a Mary Stuart halo of pleated net; and she carried an orchid entwined with a white ros ary. Her sister wore a light blue bal lerina length dress with pink ac cessories and her floral arrange ment was white carnations with pink rosebuds. The wedding party went to the Mapes Hotel to: d inner and nie newly weds left later for their Ca nadian honeymoon. Wolff is a construction foreman at weyerh&iuser Timber Company Camp 9; and the bride is also with the same company in the bookkeeping department. A bridal shower was given alter the wedding at the home of her sister. Mrs. Wendell Huettl, 1940 Lowell, with hostesses Mrs. Ben Burgess and Mrs. Frank Huslcad. Johnson, Salt Lake City; and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thurman, 3307 Hilyard, Her schooling includes attendance at the University of Utah, where she was affiliated with Delta Gamma sorority; and art school in Brooklyn, New York. Thurman is a graduate of Oregon State College, where he is a member of Sigma Nu. At present he is with an accounting firm in San Frqneisco, where they will be at home, 7121 Geary. - ' - They honeymooned at Lake Tahoe, Reno and at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
