Larry Kirton, SLilo Division of Forestry, lire dispatcher here, said that mop up operations were being carried on Tuesday on three Urea, and Lee Morlord. U.S. Forest serv ice fire dispatcher for the Klamath National Forest, said that there were no lires burning on land Unaer federal jurisdiction. One of the largest fires fought Monday night was on Yreka moun tain, southwest ot Yreka. The tire started on slate land, but a Klam ath National Forest crew from Forks of Salmon aided In lighting I ccd 1 ine uiazc. Kirton bald about two acres were burned over beiorc the lire was checked. The lire was reported by a traffic olllcer of the California Highway Patrol. It was located near the summit aoout two miles from the Yrrka-Fort Jones slate highwiiy.
