Sun Valley News Photo i BONANZA' WOMENS CLUB ; BONANZA The Bonanza Wom en's Club met at the Library, March 2 lor its regular monthly : Objrhei-Je conducted the short I " ' business session' during which, the elub Toted io-helpn-Bonan?a ' young people who are giving the weekly shows tor Bonanza ana sui '.' rounding communities. The shows are given at the Bonanza gym f every Friday night at 7:30, and i: are chaperoned. The Women's Club will furnish chaperones when nec essary. The "Hobby" class which fol- , : lowed the business meeting, was -i on candy making, led by Florence . Horn chairman, assisted by Faye 5 ' Weimer, Clara Bold and Noma 1 ! Bechdoldt. Jack Wcimcr gave a demonstration on . making tally; showing how to pull it using a Uiij. hook. Members marie different kinds of candy and also brought different kinds of candy made during the afternoon. Boxes wore made up of the different varieties of candy and sold for the benefit of the Library. Mrs. Horn stressed a few impor tant facts, on candy-making. The next meeting of the club will be April 6. The hobby for that day will be lamp shades. The Library floors are to be sanded and refinished the week of March 30 through April 5; and the Library will not be available for meetings Unit week. Mrs. Henry Schmor. News Photo Friends Learn of Valentine Day Rites Uniting Elizabeth Schuld To Bobby James Thomas in Modesto Of interest to their many local friends, is news of the marriage of Elizabeth June Schuld, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schuld, form er Klamath Falls residents, in Mo desto, to Bobby James Thomas. The double-ring St. Valentine's Day nuptial service was in the Re organized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. The bride's father, Elder Ted Schuld officiated; and she was given In marriage by her maternal grand father, Earl Bryson, Portland. She was a student at KUHS and Medford High School, later going to Modesto High School of which she is a graduate The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Thomas, Ceres, California; and Is also a graduate of Modesto High School. Both are employed in Modesto, where they will make their home. MR. AND MRS. The members decided to have a birthday box and also a white ele phant sale at each meeting for moiv ev raising Durooses. The pledges discussed a few more phases of training in prep aration for nins.
