Ger trude Is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoefler. Hostesses for the party were Mrs. Dick Derry, Mrs. Dan Melhase, Mrs. Joe Noi-k, Mrs. Henry Schmor and Mrs. Dallas Sutherland. Daffodils and pussy willows were used throughout the large room, and the gifts were piled under neath a pink and white umbrella which hung from the celling. The musical prozrarn will be provided by Bop Eninan, whose violin solo will be the third move ment of the Concerto in G Minor by Vruch. He will be accompanied by Judy Hadley. Tea will be arranged by a com mittee headed by Mrs. Roy Carter, nsstsled by Mrs. A. W. Porter, Mrs. Joe Thomas, Mrs. Brady Narcy. Mrs. Hoy Benedict and Mrs. Ronald Carter, who will dec orate the tea table. Presiding at Ihe lea table will he Mrs. Glen Evans, Girl Scout chairman lor the Library Club; nnd Mrs. Harry Fredericks, Camp Fire Girl chairman. The hospitality committee for Musical Program Entertains Members of Zuleima Nile Club Zuleima Nile Club of Klamath Falls welcomed its new officers at the luncheon meeting In the Willard Hotel on March 3. A spring decorating theme was carried out beautifully on the tables in tne form of sprays of acacia, potted hyacinths, tulips, and green candles. Several new members and guests were Introduced and pre sented with corsages, fiew mem bers of Daughters of the Nile are Jean Aldrich, Luella Chilcote, El len Wade, and Nell RetlereUi. Guests were Vera Hackler, a for mer member of the club, and Sylvia Wood, a guest lrom Nydia Temple, Florence West, chairman of the day. Introduced her committee as follows' Peggy Chilcote, Alma co- ler, Grace Huls, Verla Land, Geraldlne Owsley, Ada Matthews, Olive Riach, Claudine Van Bus' kirk, Jean Coddlngton, and Dixie Bebbcr. Grace Huls and Olive Riach were In charge of decora' tions. Special prizes of the day were presented to Mildred Dlmbit, Vivian Owens, and Claudine Van Busklrk. The birthday prize was won by Lorene McCollum. Kathleen Ward introduced Ruth Lobaugh and six boys from Fre mont Junior High, four of them, a quartet. The audience was high ly amused and held entranced by tne clever introductions and pre sentation of the several numbers sung by the group of four, Jimmy Hope, Jan Cox, Tom Ankeny, and Donald Leacb. Danny Johnston sang "Irish Lullaby" as a solo. The quartet was accompanied in one number by Lowell Newton. Ruth Lobaugh piayed a beauti ful piano arrangement of Medels sohn's "Spring Song". Charlotte Osbom and Madge Mc Laren assisted Kathleen Ward on the program committee. Members of the club expressed a desire to use the proceeds of the birthday bank for the Out patient Clinic of the Portland Shrine Hospital. President Peggy Chilcote intro duced her standing committee members for the coming year.
