Members marie different kinds of
candy and also brought different
kinds of candy made during the
afternoon. Boxes wore made up of
the different varieties of candy and
sold for the benefit of the Library.
Mrs. Horn stressed a few impor
tant facts, on candy-making.
The next meeting of the club
will be April 6. The hobby for that
day will be lamp shades.
The Library floors are to be
sanded and refinished the week of
March 30 through April 5; and the
Library will not be available for
meetings Unit week.

Rites Uniting Elizabeth Schuld
To Bobby James Thomas in Modesto
Of interest to their many local
friends, is news of the marriage
of Elizabeth June Schuld, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schuld, form
er Klamath Falls residents, in Mo
desto, to Bobby James Thomas.
The double-ring St. Valentine's
Day nuptial service was in the Re
organized Church of Jesus Christ
of the Latter Day Saints. The
bride's father, Elder Ted Schuld
officiated; and she was given In
marriage by her maternal grand
father, Earl Bryson, Portland.
She was a student at KUHS and
Medford High School, later going
to Modesto High School of which
she is a graduate
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Thomas,
Ceres, California; and Is also a
graduate of Modesto High School.
Both are employed in Modesto,
where they will make their home.

OES Prosperity Chapter Meets
NU PHI MU Plans
New Fund Projects
i Nu-' Plil MU held its regular
meeting at the home of Trudy
Bramlett. 231 North Ninth Street,
for its services.
The members decided to have a
birthday box and also a white ele
phant sale at each meeting for moiv
ev raising Durooses.
The pledges discussed a few
more phases of training in prep
aration for nins.
A surprise bridal shower for
Beverly Gordon was given after
the meeting was adjourned.
Refreshments were served by
Sharon Hayfor and Marlone
Owens. Members present were:
