Mr. and Mrs. Dale Goode were hosts at their Dorrlg home, to a Smorgasbord, June 3, honoring Barbara Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Stevenson Jr., and Mrs. Virgil Ratlllf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Deldrich, both of Mucdoel, who were grad uated from the Butte Valley High School class ol '53. The dinner Marie Obenchain and Florence Pielke Present Pupils in Joint Recitals Two joint recitals presenting the piano pupils of Florence PJcUe and Marie Obenchain were held at LOST RIVER GARDEN CLUB MERRILL Mrs. Lawson Kandra and Mrs. Don West were hostesses lor a meeting of the Lost Blver Cardcn Club, May 26, at the home of the former. New officers elected were: Mrs. M A. Bowman, president; Mrs. Clvdo Hammond, vice president; Mrs R. L. Dragoo, secretary. treasurer: and Mrs. C. E. Sharp was appointed song leader. Mrs. Sharp was oppointed chair man of a committee to investigate the possibilities of having a now- cr show tills summer. Mrs. Scott MrKendrnn and Mrs. J. Walter Browning will aslst. , The outgoing president Mrs. Bowman, led the discussion ol comnleted during the past year, and called on the chair men for reports on each project Under discussion were the flower show, memorial park planting project, the Camp Fire Oirls wceu hnv. and the making ol the Potato Festival float.
