Heavy hog runs forced prices a little lower this week, but demand held up quite well and there was a complete clearance each day. Prices held a little above their recent lows. Barrows and gilts ended 10 to 15 cents lower while sows were off 25 to 50 cents. Receipts also were large in the cattle section, running about 30 per cent higher than in the cor responding week a year ago. Prime and high choice yearlings weighing under 1.G50 pounds sold steady to 50 cents higher, but most oiher sections were lower.
