The process throws two Images on the screen. By wearing trick glasses, the viewer gets the Illu sion that the figures on the screen are not entirely flat. I can recall practically the same process in a short made by Pete Smith 15 yrars ago. What's more one film historian fellow by the name of Hub Keavy can remem ber seeing a similar gimmick back in 1923. The critics reacted to "Bwana Devil" in a manner that cannot be called kind. They observed that the process wasn't very new. They claimed the glasses were uncom fortable, especially for those who wore spectacles anyway. They pleaded headaches and astigma tism from watching the film. They added that the acting was bad. the direction worse and the script lousy. Former KF Man Dies Word has been received of the death yesterday morning of Mi chael A. Long, former resident of Klamath Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Long cam here during the fall of 1927 and for four or five years worked as laboratory and X-ray technicians at Klamath Valley and Hillside Hospitals. - Mike, as he was known to his friends, was about 63 at the time of his death. He had auffered a heart attack six months ago but was thought to be recovering satisfactorily when another attack caused his death. He la survived bv his wife.
