Control In Bulletin A new method of controlling the western peach and prune root borer In rocky soils has been developed by the Oregon State college experiment station. Both chemicals gave excellent control, but DDT Is cheaper and less dangerous to handle. The old standard treatment of paradlcholorbenzcne crystals In not effective on rocky soils, Brown re-1 ported.
