Piechert and Son Construction Company of Sacra mento. The company's figure was $1,048, 738.50. There were nine other bidders. The construction is to run from the north limits of Dunsmuir north to Big Canyon toward Mt. Shasta, and the project will be a divided four-lane freeway for the entire length with the exception of a three. quarter mile section of highway just south of Bi? Canvon. whtrh will be two-lane.
