Hayes, Westloke, the federation's emblem chairman, re port that the new sticker Is being mailed to a Urge group of con nervatlonlsta of this community. Persons whose names are not now on the federation's mailing list may obtain emblems by submit ting name and address to the 4f" KLAMATH MIL. The federation has no paid officers, and all funds re ceived are used in natural re sources activities. She telephoned the navy. Radarman Terry McOovern of San Diego, and Sonarman Dick Snell of Los Angeles arrived, bug- eyed and on official orders, at Paramount Studio to Judge what would please the navy. Corlnne arrived In a bathing suit (Navy whistles.) t Designer Edith Head arrived with an armful 01 material, an autnen tic Hawaiian grass skirt and a dim view of the whole tbing. Corlnne slipped out of her dress ing room wearing the grass skirt. "It's authentic," beamed Edith. "It's awful," said Radarman Mc Oovern. Edith had an Idea.. She took a bolt of pale blue lame usually reserved for even ing gowns and molded a scanty sarong around Corlnne a lush curves. It was as revealing aa a Kefauver report. It hit Corlnne way above the knees and tt hit the navy right between the eyes. "That's It," yelled the radar man, whose eyes have been trained to pick up minor details. Sonarmen Snell whistled so loud that a couple of his pals at sea off Tahiti Joined in. The flowers between her toes were Corlmie's own little Idea. "Who." asked Corlnne, "wants to tee Just toes?" The navy sighed and went back to sea to report that Hollywood had done right by the pin-up-happy navy. Designer F.lllh Head was still taking a dim view of the whole thing. "It's not authentic," she wailed. Corlnne put on a dressing gown and beamed: "If the navy's happeo I'm bap pee." David O.
