At a meeting held at tne school- house last week they surprised Mr. and Mrs. Hnrvey Denham by pre senting them with an electric Toostmaster. During a play period at the Keno school last week, Mrs. Guy Moore requested Denham to go to the cafeteria. When he entered. all unsuspecting, he was greeted with the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade pupils gathered around a large cake. During the partaking of the cake, Denham was presented with a necktie and a gold clasp. When telling this re porter he was still very happy over the surprise. Mrs. Henderson, wife of the county agent, gave an address on the music program of the county schools. Pie and coffee were served at the close of the program. Dolores, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Lummls. was taken to the Klamath Valley hospital Saturday morning suffering with double pneumonia. Her doctor gave her several penicillin shots and she was allowed to return home Sunday evening, and If no com plications develop she will soon be entirely recovered.
