As a J'ng man I worked for other people, which gave me a food training;, and also taught me the value of learning the viewpoint of others, as well as their problems. As a storkraiser and farmer, I have been honored by my neighbors and fellow ranchers by being elected to serve them as their director In the California Cattlemen's Association of Dis trict One, and am now In my second term of office. I am also a member of the executive committee of the same organization and also a member of the executive committee of the American National Cattlemen's Association. While I have had no political experience. I feel that because of my diversified business experience that I have the necessary executive ability to transact the business of our county In an efficient manner, and will try to do for this district what I per sonally would like to have done if the business were my own. I was asked to be a candidate by the business men of ButU Valley and Tulelake, and because of the great need of a supervisor from the northeastern section of this district, I consented to be come a candidate, and to offer my services to- the people of thla district, If they feel that I am the man. 1 have nothing to gain in a personal or material way from serving as your supervisor.
