July 54 The United States is still making atomic bombs, and looking for ways to make better ones, the atomic energy com- mission reported to congress today. Senator Deuel Dies At Chico CHICO. Calif., July 24 JVt State Senator Charles H. Deuel of Chlco, veteran California legislator, died Tuesday night at Enloe hospital here. He was 79.
