No more lots are available from the government for summer home cabins on Odell lake. Only about 60 houses are on the lake, and with many Callfornlans wishing to own a summer cottage on the lake, unheard of prices are being offered for cabins. There are at present three houses for sale on the end of the lake near Cascade Summit. The A. C. Nagels wish to sell their house. Nagel built the house of logs and they have lived In It the year around for the past 13 years. The Dr. Ooffey summer home Is also for sale. Dr. and Mrs. Walter B. Coffey having died, the property now belongs to yielr daughter, wife of a Sati Francisco physician. The Coffey summer home has been a show place. A high retaining wall to keep the earth from sliding down on It I built In the back of It, as well as a wishing well, or an Imita tion well with an oaken bucket In It. The house formerly belonging to Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Rummel Is also for sale. The properties will probably all be sold this summer because of the great demand for summer homes on the lake.
