Only a select few may belong to this organization because for membership a person must be able to climb a rope which is suspended from the rafters to the top. Once on top tho climb er writes her name there and she has become a member of tho "Holler" club. Swimming begins next Mon duy. From now on swimming will bo every Monday, Wednes day and alternate Friday for the girls. The boys will have tho uso of tho pool on Tuesdays, Thursdays ond the other Fri days. A play day Is being planned for April by the Girls' Letter club. At that time the club will play host to girls from Grunts Pass, Mcdford, Lokcvlew ond oil country schools in the orco. The Letter club girls will not tako port, however. District Chairman Here At the recent meeting of all representatives of tho Future Home Makers of America, Gloria Dolmcr, junior, wos elected district chairman. The meeting was held In Grants Pass last weekend. Next year the district meeting will be held In Klamath Falls for this group since the chairman will be here. Vets To Get Care In Own Communities PORTLAND, March 8 fP) A new agreement between the vet erans administration and the Oregon physicians service will permit veterans to get care for service-connected ailments in their own communities, Neil Morfitt, state American Legion commander, said today. Under the plan, ex-servicemen can go to their own physicians in most cases, Morfitt stated. Canada Grants Britain Credit OTTAWA, March 8 (P) Can ada has granted Britain a credit of $1,250,000,000 at the same terms as provided in the pro posed American-British loan, Prime Minister W. L. MacKenzlo King announced today. The amount granted by Can ada is one-third the amount of the American loan, which still awaits the approval of congress. The Canadian loan also must be approved by parliament, a finance ministry official said, and special legislation will be presented early at the next ses sion, which opens a week from today. No important opposition is anticipated, although there have been indications that some spokesmen for French-speaking Quebec will oppose it.
