TJ7ILLKIE, addressing a Lln coin Day banquet In In diana, speaks of the after-thc-war necessity for "an enormous multiplication of markets for goods and manufactures of all sorts. ..." That's clearly our only way out from under the burden of debt that will rest on our shoul ders when the war finally ends. Production on a scale not before dreamed of is the only way to make good the wastage of these years of total war. After the goods are made, markets' must be found for them. The way to make world markets is for the peoples of the earth to SWAP AMONG EACH OTHER as actively as possible. )NE of the great mistakes of the now thoroughly discred ited Versailles peace was laying on the Germans a punitive bur den of. reparations that they couldn't pay in money (because there wasn't enough gold) and WEREN'T ALLOWED to pay in trade.
