of Roger Barker, 10, on charges
of writing extortion letters to
four movie stars, Mickey Roo
ney, Betto Davis, Rosalind Rus
sell and Dcanna Durbln.
R. B. Hood, special agent In
charge, said Barker had con
fessed writing the letters de
manding payments ranging from
$1500 to $20,000. The letters,
Hood said, threatened the lives
of the recipients.
