The decorations will stress tha patriotic theme with red, white and blue used through out the ballroom. For enter tainment there will be a floor show and numbers by tha Elks chorus. On Monday avnnlng mem bers of tha committee will meat In tha lounge room to make final plans for the party. A number of cocktail parties will be given before the dance by members of the organization. HEALTH UNIT STAFF GUESTS AT SUPPER Dr. and Mrs. Peter H. Ro tendil of 1444 Crescent ave nue, entertained Friday eve ning at their home with buffet supper and Christmas party for members of the pub lic health unit staff. Washington, former resident of this city, spent a few days In Klamath Falls this week. Bride-Elect Complimented Mrs. Manno Hostess At Party Honoring Harriett Wolfe Complimenting Miss Har riett Wolfe, who became tho bride of Mr. Harold Redden in Reno, Nevada, this weekend, Mrs. Anthony Manno enter tained with a prettily ap pointed Christmas party and miscellaneous shower Wed nesday evonlng at her homo on Darrow street. A Christmas tree, with holly and mistletoe, made th rooms gay, and games were played during the evening with prizes going to Mrs. Ray Langhaln and Mrs. Addle Walker. Honoring Miss Wolfe were i Mrs. Cecil Bernard Matt, Mrs. ' Ray Langhaln, Mrs. Lillian Stalcy, Mrs. Bcrnle Rawlins, Mrs. Charles Scharfcnstein, Mrs. Lee Jacobs, Mrs. Addle Walker, Mrs. J. H. Curnahan, Mrs. Ernest D. Lamb, Mrs. W. Evans, Miss Beverley Rlckcr and Mrs. Manno. Miss Virginia Tyrrell, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Tyrrell of Pacific Terrace, is home for the holidays from the University of Oregon. SPECIALTY SHOW SLATED BY LIBRARY CLUB Members of the board of di rectors of the Klamath Falls Library club have received word that Groves' and Fin ley's Manikin theatre which was scheduled to appear hero at the January the thirteenth program, will not be shown In this city due to the Illness of a member of the organiza tion. In place of the manikin thcotro there will be the regu lar Llbray club program on that day with a special show arranged by residents of the city including all interested club members. Details will be announced later. All persons having a spe ciality, such as wood carving, wood work, design, arrange ments of flowers, silver or other metal work, in fact any thing that would go toward making an interesting display, Is asked to plan to show ar ticles to make the show a success. Friends regret to learn of the departure of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Langslet and their two children for Payette, Idaho, where .they will reside per manently. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Coffey and children are now making their home In Salem. Dinner Dance Scheduled ) Alpha Chi Omega Makes Plans For Hol iday Party Plans have been completed for a dinner dance to be given at Cal-Ore tavern Sunday eve ning, December the .twenty second, by members of Alpha Chi Omega's local alumnao club. Active members from the various schools with their escorts will be special guests, and all members of this chap ter are expected to join in the first large affair since th organization of the group. Table decorations will b exceptionally gay with scarlet and olive green, Alpha Chi Omega colors, which will fit appropriately into the Christ mas theme. Mrs. Dean Hous ton is dinner dance chairman with Mrs. William Ferguson, president of the club, ' assist in g her. Other committee members are Mrs. Mitchell Tillotson, Mrs. James Kerns, and Miss Gale Bratton. ,, Mrs. Frank Wilmot is arriv ing this weekend from her home at Portland to spend the holidays as the guest of Dr. and Mrs. C.
