MIm Virginia Howard will be crowned Sweetheart of DeMolay during the evening, tho wreath of flowers placed on her head by Master Coun cillor Jack Myers. Princesses will bo Miss Juno Van, Miss Dorothea Kllingson, Miss Bon nie Robin, and Miss Suzanne Mlchclson. Patrons for the affair aro Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey C. Dlohm, Mr. and Mrs. E. O, Thomas, Mr. Floyd Stanley, and Mr. William Milne. More than one hundred and twenty-five couples arc ex pected at the Snowball dance which Is given each year dur ing Christmas and Now Year's by DeMolay. A special Invi tation has been issued to members of the collego set, ' homo for the holidays. Mrs. C. II. DngRclt and daughters, Miss Marljanc and Carolyn, left Friday by motor for San Francisco for tho holi days. Later tho girls will study at Armstrong's business col lege. . Affairs of Holiday Season ' "It's going to be grand" is the announcement of the f Reames Country club dance committee regarding the tradition al New Year's eve party scheduled for Tuesday night a week 17 hence at the clubhouse. The committee will discuss plans only with such mysteri ous terms as "pretentious, . and '"spectacular," with an interesting program of fea tures, coupled with gay favors and decorations, arranged for the party goers. Dancing for club members and their guests will begin at . ten o'clock. An elaborate buf fet supper will be served at a late hour. Details of the party were planned by the commit tee members including Mr. and Mrs. John Bishop and Mr. and Mrs. Don Drury, co-chairmen. Dr. and Mrs. Ray W. Oldenburg, Dr. and Mrs. Den ton J. Rees, Mr. and Mrs. Lc iloy Erdmann, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Dr. and Mrs. F. W. Peak, and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Igl. The December meeting of Oregon Mothers was hold at the home of Mrs. C. E. Morri son on Pacific Terrace with eleven members present. 'The January meeting will be held the sixth at the home of Mrs; Warren Hunt, 647 Pacific Terrace, at which time dessert will be served at half past one o'clock.
