Sept. it, (Spe cial to Tho Herald.) Siskiyou will have a bounty ol $5 each on coyotes beginning in November, ir present plans materialize. When the board of supervisors al located the general fund for the com ing year, provision was made for the payment of the bounty, which has been urged by the granges of Sis kiyou and by Klamath county, Ore gon, where an intensified campaigu against coyotes has been carried on tor many months by stnte nnd fed eral agents. While the bounty was not fixed, it Is understood that at the October meeting the bounty will be fixed to toko effect November 1. The coyote question is rapidly be coming serious in Siskiyou where the dfuradations of the animals have steadily increased since the bounty was removed more than a year ago in an effort to reduce the county's budget.
