The state hishway department re ports that on the da..- the traffic census was taken, 459 vehicles of all kind were checked in 16 hours. Of this number 313 were Oregon car; 118 from other states; 22 trucki; 2 motorcycles; and four horse- drawn vehicles. It all arises from the fact that Chiloquin has the largest school in the county outside of Klamath Falls. , It is so large, in point of registration that the high school and perhaps 1 several classes in the grade school will be conducted In the church. TELEPHONE HEAD INSPECTING HERE C. E. Hickman, division super intendent of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph company, arrived in Klamath Falls today to spend sev eral days on an inspection of the Telephone company interests here. Mr. Hickman is an infrequent visitor in Klamath Falls but his especial attention has been drawn to this territory because of the re markable telephone expansion now in progress in Klamath. Per capita, the telephone increase in Klamath Falls exceeds any other city in Oregon. Local Girl to Wed Tomorrow Morning Tomorrow morning at eight o'clock Miss Irene Folsom will become the bride of James McFarland. Miss Alicia Davenport and Lewis McFar land of San Francisco will be the attendants. Miss Folsom is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Folsom of this city, and is one of the popular mem bers of the younger social set. Last June she was a graduate of the Sac red Heart academy. Parking Amendment An ordlaace has climbed up to its second reading on its way to passage, that would prohibit park ing in front of tlie post office site on Ninth between Main and Klamath. Specifically the ordin ance prohibits parking on the west side of Ninth street, 70 feet north from Klamath avenue. Another ordinance would prohlb- it tie carrying of signs around tho public streets.
